Calibration can be thrown off for a number of reasons - the most common is the projector or eBeam is shifted. When an eBeam's calibration is off when you touch the stylus to the whiteboard the mouse pointer will not appear at that point - instead it may be off a few inches or more. Usually re-calibrating resolves this. If the eBeam consistently exhibits this problem please follow these steps:
  • Go to ‘Applications’ - drop the eBeam Interact folder and eBeam Capture icon into the trash
  • Go to your HD root -> Library -> Caches
  • Do a search for ‘luidia’ and ‘ebeam’ – trash anything found
  • Go to your HD root -> Library -> Preferences
  • Do a search for ‘luidia’ and ‘ebeam’ – trash anything found (there should be multiple files found)                    Example = com.luidia.ebeam.XXXXXX.plist
  • Empty your trash and restart the computer
  • Upon reboot download Capture and Interact again from luidia or http://adamsbiz.com/downloads
  • Unpack and install
